# Phase 5.4 Implementation Report
## PRODUCTION & EVENT GL FINANCIAL INTEGRATION

### Objective
The objective of Phase 5.4 was to seamlessly connect the Phase 5 Production and Event Management modules to the existing Phase 4 General Ledger engine.

### Architectural Decisions
1. **Production Integration**: Maintained the existing GL design where Raw Material Consumption and Finished Goods Receipts are posted to the GL using standard cost valuation.
2. **Event Integration**: Preserved the Phase 4 `InvoiceService` and GL pipeline by generating Deposit Invoices for partial upfront payments and calculating final Event Bookings with a deduction line item ("Deposit Applied") on the final invoice.
3. **Idempotency**: Utilized the `ProcessedEvent` mechanism to guarantee that operational changes trigger GL journals safely exactly once.

### Changes Implemented
- Database:
  - Added `standard_cost` decimal to `items`.
  - Added `default_raw_materials_account_id` and `default_finished_goods_account_id` to `financial_settings`.
- Backend:
  - Implemented `PostProductionCompletedToGlListener` triggered via `ProductionCompleted` event.
  - Adapted `EventBookingService` to apply previous deposits as negative line items when generating the final booking invoice.
  - Patched `InvoiceService` line calculations to ensure relations were properly refreshed, preventing cached states from excluding dynamically added lines.
  
### Status
All changes have been successfully implemented and validated against the comprehensive test suite, yielding a fully compliant Phase 5.4 build.
