# TANRAIL ONE — Phase 3.3 Security Audit

## 1. Scope
This audit verifies the Phase 3.3.2 Financial Core implementation against the security requirements of TANRAIL ONE.

## 2. Findings

### 2.1 Immutability Enforcement (PASS)
- **Vulnerability Checked**: Direct modification of a POSTED journal or its lines.
- **Result**: Eloquent Observers in `Journal` and `JournalEntry` block any `update` or `delete` operations that attempt to mutate the data. Updates are strictly limited to the `JournalStatus::REVERSED` transition, which can only be done via the `FinancialService::reverseJournal` method.
- **Test Coverage**: Confirmed in `Phase33FinancialEngineTest::test_5_journal_immutability` and `test_6_journal_entry_immutability`.

### 2.2 Mathematical Invariants (PASS)
- **Vulnerability Checked**: Creating imbalanced journal entries.
- **Result**: `FinancialService` uses BCMath to perform high-precision summation. It strictly asserts that `Total Debits === Total Credits`. Imbalanced journals throw an exception before any database transaction begins.
- **Test Coverage**: Confirmed in `Phase33FinancialEngineTest::test_2_imbalanced_journal_rejected`.

### 2.3 Closed Period Protection (PASS)
- **Vulnerability Checked**: Posting a journal into a closed fiscal period, effectively rewriting history.
- **Result**: `FinancialService` queries the `FiscalPeriod` table for the posting date. If the period is closed, it rejects the journal.
- **Test Coverage**: Confirmed in `Phase33FinancialEngineTest::test_3_closed_period_rejected`.

### 2.4 Data Isolation (PASS)
- **Vulnerability Checked**: Cross-Business-Unit journal posting or querying.
- **Result**: `Journal` is protected by `BusinessUnitScope`. A user authenticated into BU A cannot access or modify a journal belonging to BU B. `Account` and `FiscalPeriod` are protected by `OrganizationScope`.
- **Test Coverage**: Confirmed in `Phase33FinancialEngineTest::test_8_cross_bu_isolation`.

## 3. Vulnerabilities Discovered
- **None**. The implementation is secure and complies with all TANRAIL ONE mandates.
