# TANRAIL ONE — Phase 3.1 Final Audit

## 1. Executive Summary
An independent architectural and security audit of the Phase 3.1 Core Data Foundation was conducted. While the database models, migrations, and enums perfectly align with the business-agnostic requirements (no Restaurant/Catering logic leaked), the implementation critically failed the application security boundary tests. The required Global Scopes and Application Policies are missing, leaving the data completely exposed to cross-organization and cross-business-unit leakage at the application layer.

## 2. Files Inspected
- `App\Domains\Core\Models\*` (Customer, Supplier, Item, Unit, TaxCategory)
- `App\Domains\Core\Enums\*` (CustomerType, ItemType, PaymentMethod)
- `database/migrations/*` (Phase 3.1 migrations)
- `tests/Feature/Core/Phase31DataFoundationTest.php`
- `tests/Feature/Core/Phase31AuditTest.php`

## 3. Database Audit
- All tables correctly map to the agnostic architectural design.
- Foreign keys properly enforce structural lineage (`organization_id`, `business_unit_id`).
- Deletion behaviors are appropriately set to `cascadeOnDelete` for core parents and `restrictOnDelete`/`nullOnDelete` for lookup tables (Units, Taxes).

## 4. Customer Audit
- **Database Boundary:** Successfully scoped to `organization_id`.
- **Application Boundary:** **FAILED**. Missing a Global Scope. Calling `Customer::all()` returns customers from all organizations, violating the strict isolation rule.

## 5. Supplier Audit
- **Database Boundary:** Successfully scoped to `organization_id`.
- **Application Boundary:** **FAILED**. Missing a Global Scope.

## 6. Item Audit
- **Database Boundary:** Successfully scoped to `business_unit_id`. The unique constraint `['business_unit_id', 'sku']` is correctly applied at the database level.
- **Application Boundary:** **FAILED**. Missing a Global Scope. Items from BU A leak into queries executed by users in BU B.

## 7. Unit Audit
- Verified as a strictly Global entity. No `organization_id` exists. Correctly prevents duplicate codes at the DB level.

## 8. Tax Category Audit
- Verified as a Global entity. Standardized fields (`rate`, `code`) exist. Correctly prevents duplicate codes.

## 9. Payment Method Audit
- Successfully implemented as a native PHP Enum (`App\Domains\Core\Enums\PaymentMethod`). This is architecturally compliant for Phase 3.1. As documented in the Phase 3 review, it can be migrated to a database table if dynamic methods are required in later extensions.

## 10. Authorization Audit
- **CRITICAL FAILURE:** Stage 3.1 constructed the Data Models but did not implement the corresponding Policies, Form Requests, or Global Scopes. The data exists securely in the database but is fully accessible to any authenticated user traversing the application layer.

## 11. Enum Audit
- Validated: `CustomerType`, `ItemType`, `PaymentMethod`.
- **Passed:** No business-specific terms (e.g., MEAL, PASSENGER, EVENT) exist. The Core remains 100% agnostic.

## 12. Migration Audit
- All migrations utilize appropriate data types (e.g., `decimal` for prices and rates).
- Indexes are correctly configured on foreign keys.

## 13. Test Audit
- The original `Phase31DataFoundationTest` was insufficient as it only tested successful database creation.
- A new `Phase31AuditTest` was created containing explicit negative tests (Cross-Org and Cross-BU).
- 2 Security tests **FAILED** (Proving data leakage).
- 1 Hierarchy mismatch test was marked **INCOMPLETE** (Proving missing application validation logic).

## 14. Architecture Compliance
- The Core Test ("If Restaurant disappeared tomorrow, would this entity make sense?") passes perfectly for all models.

## 15. Security Findings
1. **[CRITICAL]** Missing `OrganizationScope` on `Customer` and `Supplier`.
2. **[CRITICAL]** Missing `BusinessUnitScope` on `Item`.
3. **[HIGH]** Missing Authorization Policies to prevent hierarchy mismatches during creation.

## 16. Performance Findings
- The `['business_unit_id', 'sku']` compound index on `items` perfectly satisfies the lookup performance requirement for cross-tenant catalog querying.

## 17. Deviations
- **[CRITICAL]** Phase 3.1 was executed as a "Data Foundation" phase, resulting in premature database models lacking application security boundaries. The architecture explicitly demands Context-aware Global Scopes.

## 18. Required Corrections
Before Phase 3.2 (Inventory) can begin, the following must be implemented:
1. Create and apply `OrganizationScope` to `Customer` and `Supplier`.
2. Create and apply `BusinessUnitScope` to `Item`.
3. Re-run `Phase31AuditTest` to verify that `Item::all()` strictly filters by the active session context.

## 19. Final Verdict

### FAIL
